More than 800 participants attended ASAN’s summer events across Boston, New Jersey and New York, taking part in discussions spanning technology, health, finance, culture and community engagement.

The American South Asian Network (ASAN) has concluded a series of early summer community events across the U.S. East Coast, bringing together more than 800 participants for discussions, networking sessions and community engagement activities.

Founded to support South Asian professionals, entrepreneurs, creators and community leaders in the United States, ASAN says it has hosted more than 100 in-person events nationwide over the past year, engaging more than 20,000 participants and developing partnerships across corporate, government and academic sectors.

The recent events were held in Boston, New Jersey and New York, covering a wide range of topics including artificial intelligence, art, dating, health, fashion, finance, robotics, spirituality, technology and women’s issues.

Organizers described the series as one of the group’s most successful seasonal initiatives, highlighting strong attendance, diverse programming and opportunities for community building.

“ASAN kicked off an early summer on the East Coast with amazing momentum,” the organization said in a statement, thanking participants for contributing to the events’ success.

The gatherings featured professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders and young South Asians, creating spaces for discussions on personal development, emerging technologies, wellness and cultural engagement.

Following the East Coast events, ASAN announced plans to continue its programming on the West Coast, with upcoming events scheduled in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Among the next initiatives is a men’s forum planned for June 24 in Los Angeles as part of Men’s Health Month. Organisers said the event will provide a judgement-free environment for discussions on financial, mental and physical well-being.

ASAN also encouraged community members to support its activities through volunteering, participation in its OPT programmes and charitable contributions.

“Every contribution makes a difference,” the organisation said.
