The gala commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the importance of community service. Key figures including Dr. Rajeev Mehta, Chairman of GLO-INDIA; H.S. Panaser, President; Dinesh Mittal, Co-Chairman; and Rajlaxmi Kadam, Consul (Trade) at the Consulate General of India in New York, participated in this inaugural ritual.
