The Disability Admissions Guide brings together university disability services, application guidance, funding resources and accessible learning tools into a single platform, helping students with disabilities make informed decisions as they prepare for college.

Education platform University & Beyond has launched an all-in-one Disability Admissions Guide aimed at helping students with disabilities and their families navigate the transition to college by providing centralized information on admissions, campus support services, funding opportunities and accessibility resources.

Available at https://unb.college, the online guide is designed to support students across a broad range of disabilities and medical conditions, including learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia, neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism, physical and mobility disabilities including cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries, visual and hearing impairments, and chronic health conditions such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis.

According to University & Beyond, the resource brings together information that is often scattered across university websites, helping families better understand the admissions process and the disability support services available at different institutions.

The guide includes detailed disability service profiles for more than 75 universities, allowing students to compare accommodations and campus resources before applying. It also offers practical advice on disability disclosure during the admissions process and identifies funding opportunities, highlighting more than $70 million in annual scholarships, grants and other financial assistance that may be available to eligible students.

To improve accessibility, the platform has been optimized for diverse learning needs through built-in condition-specific reading formats and multilingual audio narration, enabling students to access information in formats that best suit their individual learning preferences.

University & Beyond said the initiative is intended to reduce barriers faced by students with disabilities during college planning by providing accessible, comprehensive guidance in a single location.

The platform aims to help families make more informed decisions about higher education while promoting greater awareness of disability accommodations and support services available at colleges and universities.
