TiE Boston and TiE New York have opened applications for the TiECON East 2026 Emerging Company Showcase and Awards, on June 29, 2026, inviting early-stage startups to compete for investor access, industry recognition, and business visibility at one of the largest entrepreneurship conferences in the U.S. East Coast.
Now in its fourth year, the Emerging Company Showcase is designed to highlight promising Seed-to-Series A startups serving or planning to serve the U.S. market. Selected companies will receive dedicated showcase tables where investors, mentors, partners, and conference attendees can interact directly with founders. Finalists will also deliver two-minute pitches from the main conference stage before a panel of venture capitalists, who will select winners across multiple categories.
According to the organisers, startups participating in last year’s showcase competed for $100,000 in total cash and in-kind awards.

The organisers said selected finalists will have the opportunity to present their companies on the main conference stage, receive dedicated exhibitor space throughout the event, participate in conference programming and investor-focused sessions, gain visibility among attendees, sponsors, and industry leaders, and be recognised as one of TiECON East 2026’s featured emerging companies.
The showcase is intended for startups that have demonstrated market validation or customer traction, are seeking growth capital, strategic partnerships, customers, or broader industry exposure, and are incorporated anywhere in the world while serving the U.S. market.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of venture capital and angel investors, with selected finalists invited to participate in the live showcase.
TiECON East 2026 will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, Massachusetts.
The conference will run from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. under the theme “The Next Growth Playbook: Product, Market and Capital in the Age of AI,” examining how founders and business leaders are building and scaling companies in an era where artificial intelligence is increasingly integrated into products, operations, and business decision-making.
Organisers said the conference will focus on practical aspects of company building, including product development, fundraising, operational scaling, go-to-market strategy, and long-term growth across sectors such as AI, healthcare, life sciences, fintech, climate technology, software, and industrial innovation.
TiE Boston and TiE New York are part of the global TiE network, a nonprofit organisation founded in Silicon Valley in 1992 to foster entrepreneurship through mentorship, education, networking, funding connections, and community engagement.
