Healthcare professionals, business executives, entrepreneurs, and members of the Indian American community gathered in Newton for a meet-and-greet with Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, creating a platform for discussion on the Commonwealth’s economic, healthcare, and innovation priorities.
The event was organized by Priya Samant and Dr. Anahita Dua, and co-hosted by Dr. William Pepper Denman, Dr. Henna Karna, and Vithal Deshpande.
The gathering brought together leaders from a range of sectors, including healthcare, business, technology, and community organizations. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with Governor Healey and discuss issues affecting Massachusetts, including economic development, healthcare access, education, workforce growth, housing, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
“The event created an opportunity for meaningful dialogue between government, healthcare, business, and community leaders on issues that matter to the future of Massachusetts,” the organizers said.
During the event, participants exchanged ideas on strengthening Massachusetts’ position as a global hub for innovation, life sciences, healthcare, and artificial intelligence. Conversations also focused on fostering collaboration between government, industry, and community stakeholders to expand opportunities for residents and businesses across the state.
