Showcasing a variety of elegant saree-draping styles across India, the participants highlighted the deep-rooted connection Malayalees maintain with their customs, values, and cultural identity. Adorned with colorful shawls symbolizing warmth, joy, diversity, and acceptance, the performers embodied the welcoming spirit for which Kerala is widely known.
One of the most captivating highlights of the performance was the artistic recreation of a traditional Kerala royal procession, complete with ceremonial umbrellas and hand fans that evoked the grandeur and cultural richness of the state’s heritage.
These symbolic elements, combined with thoughtful choreography and traditional attire, created a visually striking tribute to Kerala’s history and traditions. The presentation also reflected Kerala’s longstanding tradition of embracing and celebrating the diverse cultures of India, reinforcing the values of harmony, openness, and mutual respect.

Through their elegant presentation, the participants highlighted the enduring beauty of Kerala’s traditional attire while emphasizing the importance of preserving and passing on cultural heritage to future generations.
The program concluded on a heartfelt note as the participants gathered on stage for a prayer and a tribute to mothers, acknowledging their immeasurable role in nurturing families, shaping communities, and inspiring future generations. The emotional finale added depth and meaning to an already memorable presentation.
Reflecting on the event’s success, Radha Unni expressed gratitude to the women who helped bring her vision to life. “When I shared this idea with my close friends, my ‘Dazzling Girls,’ they were instantly excited to bring the vision to life on stage,” she said. She credited the group’s encouragement, support, and unwavering belief in her vision for the success of the performance. “This is MASCONN’s 18th Onam, and for the first time, I walked the stage with a confidence I had never felt before, and all the credit goes to my Dazzling Girls.”
