Kavish Seth is exactly that kind of artist.
An IIT Bombay graduate who could have taken the easy path — but chose his passion instead: poetry, music and singing. Son of the illustrious Kavita Seth (known for her divine Sufi and Ghazal singing), Kavish has carved his own name.
He’s a Hindustani singer, songwriter, poet, and founder of the Zubaan Music Project.
He’s also the inventor of Noori — a patented instrument that evolved from the guitar, rabab, oud and sarod. Built as a global collaborative instrument, it can play Hindustani, Western polyphony and Arabic maqamat. Noori was recently featured on Coke Studio Bharat 2024.
Recently honoured as the Most Talented Upcoming Musician by Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Devendra Fadnavis at the Nav Bharat Times award ceremony.
His music has travelled across concerts, literature festivals, folk festivals and hundreds of intimate gatherings — in cities, villages and towns across India and abroad. Rooted, reflective, deeply Indian — yet music that speaks to hearts across the world. 🌏
