Following India’s victory, the Indian team refused to accept the trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, citing concerns over political affiliations and recent tensions between the two countries.
Reports indicate that Naqvi took the trophy and medals with him, prompting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to file a formal complaint with Dubai Police.
