On a recent podcast, the CEO warned that the steep cost will turn international hiring into a “spending competition” that smaller companies can ill afford.
He argued that large corporations are far better positioned to absorb the additional expense, while startups and early-stage firms—already operating with tight budgets—will struggle to compete for global talent.
