India U-19 Clinches 2nd Youth Test in Mackay to Sweep Series Against Australia

India Under-19 secured a commanding seven-wicket victory over Australia Under-19 in the second and final Youth Test at Mackay, completing a 2-0 series sweep.

Opting to bowl first, India dismissed Australia for just 135 runs. Henil Patel and Khilan Patel were the standout bowlers, taking 3 wickets each, while Udhav Mohan and Deepesh Devendran provided crucial breakthroughs. Alex Lee Young was the lone resistance for Australia, scoring 66 runs.

In response, India posted 171 runs in their first innings, gaining a 36-run lead. Australia’s second innings saw them all out for 116 runs, setting India a target of 81 runs. Despite early setbacks, India chased down the target comfortably, reaching 84/3 in 12.2 overs, with Vedant Trivedi remaining unbeaten on 33 runs to guide India to victory.
